:: Joint Admission Exercise 2007
It is like we are paying school fees. Anyway, just wanted to note this funny thing. Well, this is what the school is saying so I suppose "O" Level results is going to be out very very soon since my exam is Mid Feb and the JAE (the online thing) is then so the results would be out around then too.
Actually, they should give more time though. It is like you get your results, then have to log in le. And then only give you like one week to decide. So it is like if you unlucky, the score didnt hit your expectations, you only have 1 week to rectify the decisions.

:: Story
When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and two cups of coffee.
A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with unanimous "yes."
The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the liquid into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.
"Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life."
The golf balls are the important things - God, family, children, health, friends, and favorite passions -- things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, house, and car. The sand is everything else -- the small stuff."If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "There is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life.
If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for thethings that are important to you." "So... Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your partner out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house andfix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first -- the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand. "
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."

Yah, well. So I have been watching this Anime lar... From few years back, got the whole set and watched. Actually, Channel 8 was showing it before but I did not teally cared, but then recently there was a repeat at Saturday night, actually is Sunday morning at 1am. Next week is the last episode also lar. So anyway, I few months back, watched it a while, then like eh no bad leh. Then got the whole set and watched finish le.
So what about this anime, not that easy to describe leh... But all I can say is that the whole feeling is quite nice. The ending was pretty well done. Not to mention that the music was good. Initially, it looked like some anime from those girl manga, but then the whole thing is quite nice... The main thing that caught my attention is that, initially the intro song part, there is this Blank and White angel fighting, so I thought like oh, like good vs evil only. But then it is not wor, in fact the Dark one is the good one. And the story is very complicated lar, it not exactly focus on good vs evil kind of thing. More of like a person's fate and how their lives were determined because they are in a certain family line etc. Yup, thats about it, a good anime to me. Somehow, it felt similar to those Gundam series, Wing and Seed. But the concept is different lar, just that after watching the whole thing, the feeling was similar.
26 episodes but very good plot and concept.
