:: The Superstar ::

Long time never talk about serious things. So for a start, I want to watch Harry Potter since I have watched all the other 4 in the past. Next, from Goblet of Fire onwards, I got the hard cover version for the books, then I missed Half-Blood Prince and now I am intending to collect them. Okie, I do not read the books exactly except for the first one. I do not really like to read books, I prefer people showing me the story, either through sound or visual. But I thought I should buy the books as an appreciation for the works. I think the idea is pretty good and the way J.K. Rowling puts it, not too bad (based on my experience with the first book and random discussion about the book.) Okie, enough about the Harry Potter thing. Oh yah, now its showing the 9 o clock drama, seriously, the dramas now are less fantastic, or maybe its just the feeling that things in the past are better. But anyway, have not much interest in local dramas recently, Shou Zhu is the only one I sort of tries to follow since it is supposed to be a big production.

Yah, should move on to the issue that made me write this post. Seriously, the more I watched the Campus Superstar 2 the more I develop my views. For a start, this people will become by-products of the entertainment industry. It is always said to be like the most complicated industry, then again, all industry, so long as people and their desires exist, results in those complications. No one is really evil and wants to harm people, everyone is just achieving their own goals.

Superstar was not that much of an issue but Campus SS was. Just for the plain reason that those people are really still young. They are in the period where they have not experience much of life. Just look at their expressions when they are losing out, like when they were listening to the judges saying some bad points about then, some just sian diao with the 'face'. Guohao thing was classic supporters wise and stuffs. Further, he got 12.5 points today where others got 20 plus points. It is like classic lar.

I was never against the idea of allowing young teenagers on stage into the entertainment industry, but many factors must be considered. So many issues, I think the judges are very stressed when they say things also, some of them like emotionally unstable. The previous one was still fine, can see that they are quite okie. But then again, if you see the status, the previous version saw more people from JC level and general age group was higher. This time round, younger people. Somehow, you can just see the whole politics in this series. They are all humans at the end of the thing.

Teenagers and entertainment is something where the producers and entertainment companies must be careful for, they are not like normal shows. These people still have to go to school and study. You cannot just think of them like BoA who came out at 16. It is different. A whole different thing. It is also different from PSC thing, this thing is so nationwide. It is not as simple as just singing and singing. Overall, this phenomenon should be reviewed.
