:: Star Awards 2006 ::

I know this is over for one week le, but only today when I watched the repeat allowed me to see the whole thing. Have to blog about this since this is like the only TV award in Singapore. Well, not really that bad, although using St James Power Station as a place for the presentation is abit weird, the chairs looked weird too. But anyway, this year was quite interesting. Won't be spending time listing down all the awards winners. Just some thoughts and highlights.

For a start, the Chao Ji Hong Xin Jiang was quite a good introduction, think it was introduced 3 years ago and Zoe Tay got it first, then lastest was Fann Wong, then have others like Li Nanxing and some others which I cannot really remember (This year was Chen Liping). Anyway, this is like such a good idea because recently, we can see new faces getting the Top 10 Artistes award, instead of the same old ones. Lol, notice the word old...

Other than that, Patricia Mok didnt get the award, she do not seem to have the extra edge to let her win every year. Expectedly, Chen Weilian, who I will say, does not really belong to the Visual Entertainment industry (I mean like he acted in one show and guest starred in another show only), won 2 awards, Top 10 and best newcomer. Well, if you were to look at it from a professional point of view, he might not qualify, but then if you talk about having a good fan base, he sure has one. Last thing is that actually among all the media couples who are married, Xiang Yun and Chen Zhi Chai is the most popular pair, they have like been frequent winners fo the Top 10. Maybe they can get that big award together.

Well, so much for Star Awards, will see next year then. Media is quite interesting even if you are not really inside. If you are inside, I bet it is much more interesting, but it comes with the cost anyway. That's all, now to think about my projects...
